Forest Park — Located across the street from the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, Forest Park, founded more than 130 years ago, is one of the largest urban parks in the U.S., approximately 500 acres larger than Central Park in New York. In 1904, the World's Fair was held on its grounds. Today, it is home to some of the region’s major cultural institutions, including the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum and the St. Louis Science Center.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis — Consecrated in 1926 and declared a basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1997, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis is most well-known for having one of the largest mosaic collections in the world, with some 41.5 million glass pieces in 7,000 colors covering 83,000 square feet. The Byzantine and Romanesque Basilica is easily recognizable by its 227-foot green dome.

If you're a chocolate fan, don't miss a visit to Bissinger's, St. Louis' own gourmet chocolatier, located just around the corner from the Chase.

Baseball fans might want visit downtown St. Louis and Busch Stadium to watch the St. Louis Cardinals take on the New York Mets (April 21-23) and the Chicago Cubs (April 24-26).
