St. Louis Fed Events Connect Financial Institutions with CRA-Eligible Projects
MEMPHIS, Tenn. and LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is hosting two Investment Connection events to bring together nonprofit organizations and financial institutions interested in lending to and investing in projects within their communities that meet Community Reinvestment Act requirements.
At two live events – one in Memphis, on Tuesday, July 24, and one in Little Rock, on Wednesday, July 25 – non-profit organizations will each have five minutes to deliver a pitch detailing new and existing projects ranging from affordable housing and workforce development to youth and community services.
After a brief break, funders and presenters will engage in rounds of speed networking to ask additional questions and make connections for future discussions. Attendees will have a chance to share valuable insights about issues affecting low- and moderate-income residents and discuss how these issues impact the whole community.
In addition, Julie Stackhouse, executive vice president of supervision at the St. Louis Fed, will give an update on the latest CRA developments and share insights about today’s regulatory environment.
