St. Louis Fed Event to Help North St. Louis Community Projects Connect with Funders
ST. LOUIS – The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is hosting a live Investment Connection event in St. Louis to bring together nonprofit organizations and financial institutions interested in lending to and investing in projects that impact low- and moderate-income communities.
At the Oct. 17 event, non-profit organizations will deliver a five minute pitch detailing new and existing projects that meet Community Reinvestment Act requirements. After presentations, bankers and other funders will engage presenters in rounds of speed networking to ask questions and make connections for future discussions.
Presenting organizations include:
- Prosperity Connection
- Northside Community Housing, Inc.
- St. Louis Integrated Health Network
- Dream Builders 4 Equity
- Tabernacle Community Development Corp.
- Justine PETERSEN
- Spanish Lake Community Development Corp.
- Better Family Life, Inc.
Since the inception of Investment Connection in November 2017, banks, community development financial institutions and foundations have committed more than $1.2 million in grants, loans, and investments CRA-eligible projects in their communities. Overall, 90 organizations responded to the program’s request for proposals, and of those, 54 presented their pitches live to more than 284 bankers and other funders.
