Women in Economics Symposium Set for Feb. 23
ST. LOUIS — Registration is open for the 2023 St. Louis Fed’s Women in Economics Symposium on Feb. 23 focused on the role of mentoring as well as tips on job hunting and finding and managing rewarding careers in economics.
The Women in Economics Symposium: Role Models Matter is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Participants who attend this in-person and virtual conference will learn about career opportunities in economics and discover the importance of finding a mentor.
“Our conference is an excellent opportunity for young women who are interested in pursuing economics or already studying the discipline to learn from women economists and make connections in the field,” Scott Wolla, St. Louis Fed economic education officer, said.

Who should attend: College students and educators. It is open to anyone who wants to learn how studying economic principles can provide tools to tackle real-life problems.
