St. Louis Fed Welcomes New Members to Community Development Advisory Council
ST. LOUIS—The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis appointed six new members to its Community Development Advisory Council, which meets twice a year to inform St. Louis Fed President James Bullard and Community Development staff about issues and community development efforts in the Eighth Federal Reserve District.
Appointed to three-year terms ending in 2026 were:
- Andre Alexander, president at Tabernacle Community Development Corp. and pastor at the Tabernacle Church in St. Louis
- Martha Claire Bullen, director of community sustainability at Communities Unlimited in Fayetteville, Ark.
- Brett Magers, president at Legacy Bank and Trust Co. in Springfield, Mo.
- Darin Preis, executive director at Central Missouri Community Action in Columbia, Mo.
- Stephanie Roland, senior vice president and community outreach director at Old National Bank in Evansville, Ind.
- Kevin Smith, president and CEO at Community Ventures in Lexington, Ky.
Council members are executives representing nonprofit organizations, financial institutions, universities, government and foundations from across the Eighth District, which includes Arkansas and parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. Council members serve staggered terms.
Other Community Development Advisory Council members serving in 2023 are:
- Angela C. Curry, executive director at the Economic Development Foundation–Greenwood, Leflore, Carroll in Greenwood, Miss.
- Kim Davis, senior advisor at the Home Region Program, Walton Family Foundation in Bentonville, Ark.
- Kevin Dean, CEO at Momentum Nonprofit Partners in Memphis, Tenn.
- Dara Eskridge, executive director at Invest STL in St. Louis
- Adam Hall, vice president and community and economic development manager at Fifth Third Bank in Louisville, Ky.
- Mervin Jebaraj, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.
- Martie North, director of community outreach and engagement, emerging markets at Cadence Bank in Little Rock, Ark.
- Rory Thomas, president at Memphis Medical District Collaborative in Memphis, Tenn.
- Candace Williams, executive director at Rural Community Alliance in Little Rock, Ark.
