St. Louis Fed Names New SVP of External Engagement and Corporate Communications
ST. LOUIS – Ken Fields, who currently serves as senior vice president and senior partner for FleishmanHillard, will join the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in August as senior vice president of the External Engagement and Corporate Communications Division.
In this role, Fields will serve as the strategic leader of the Eighth Federal Reserve District’s communications, Community Development and outreach functions and will support communications and external engagements for St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem.
Fields leads corporate reputation and crisis work for FleishmanHillard and has previously led a public affairs team at the firm. He has worked at FleishmanHillard for nearly 30 years. He has been responsible for managing communications efforts around the globe and engaging crisis communications team members to support clients in moments of their greatest need. He also serves as one of the firm’s lead communications and media trainers.
Prior to FleishmanHillard, Fields worked in the financial services industry and as a television news anchor and reporter for eight years. He holds bachelor’s degrees in broadcast journalism and political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Fields will begin his role at the St. Louis Fed on Aug. 12.
