Crawley, Davis Reappointed to St. Louis Fed's Little Rock Branch
Board
ST. LOUIS -- The Little Rock Branch of the Federal
Reserve Bank of St. Louis announced the following changes to its
board of directors:
The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington,
D.C., re-appointed Vick M. Crawley, plant manager for Baxter Healthcare
Corporation in Mountain Home, Ark., to a three-year term on the
Little Rock Branch board. Crawley is also a member of the boards
of directors of the development foundations for Baxter Regional
Medical Center and Arkansas State University at Mountain Home, and
serves as a commissioner for Baxter Regional Airport.
The board of directors of the St. Louis Fed re-appointed Lawrence
A. Davis, Jr., chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Pine
Bluff, to three-year term on Little Rock Branch board. Lawrence
also serves as a member of the boards of directors of the Jefferson
Regional Medical Center, the Southern Regional Education Board,
and the Jefferson County Industrial Foundation Alliance.
With branches in Little Rock, Louisville and Memphis, the Federal
Reserve Bank of St. Louis serves the Eighth Federal Reserve District,
which includes all of Arkansas, eastern Missouri, southern Indiana,
southern Illinois, western Kentucky, western Tennessee and northern
Mississippi. In addition to serving as a bank for depository institutions
and the U.S. government, each Reserve Bank monitors economic conditions
in the District, participates in formulating monetary policy, and
supervises state-chartered member banks and bank holding companies
to foster safety and soundness of the District's banking and financial
institutions and to protect the credit rights of consumers.
