Foreclosure prevention efforts can reduce a distressed family’s anxiety when the assistance is from a legitimate source. This seminar will offer an overview of the foreclosure crisis, federal and state regulations, enforcement, consumer protection, and resources in the community that offer credible assistance.
The program will be of interest to community leaders from faith-based organizations, neighborhood groups, social service agencies, government programs and others who serve consumers and who wish to increase their awareness of consumer credit rights, mortgage fraud and foreclosure rescue schemes.
