Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to Host Fed Listens Event with St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem and Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller
ST. LOUIS – As part of the Federal Reserve System’s effort to assess opportunities and challenges shaping the economy, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis will host a Fed Listens event on Wednesday, April 23.
The event will feature public remarks from Alberto Musalem, president and CEO of the St. Louis Fed, and Christopher Waller, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Additionally, business and community leaders from the St. Louis Fed's advisory councils will share public comments about the economy and monetary policy, following group work sessions. Those in the work sessions will share with President Musalem and Governor Waller their perspectives about how the economy and monetary policy are affecting daily lives and livelihoods in the Eighth Federal Reserve District. Topics will focus on labor market conditions, inflation, and the communication and transmission of monetary policy.
