Our Leaders, Our Advisers

Through its central governing body in the Board of Governors and decentralized network of 12 regional Reserve banks, the Federal Reserve works to promote a healthy economy and financial stability for all.

As one of the nation’s Reserve banks, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis serves the Eighth Federal Reserve District—which includes all of Arkansas and parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.

Like all Reserve banks, the St. Louis Fed is governed by an independent board of directors composed of three classes (C, B and A) with three members in each class. These directors oversee Bank operations and contribute vital information about economic and credit conditions in the Eighth District. The St. Louis Fed’s branch locations in Little Rock, Ark., Louisville, Ky., and Memphis, Tenn., also have boards of directors serving these offices. In addition, members of our six advisory councils share important information about specific industries that are critical to our District.

Together, our directors and advisory council members represent the many voices of Main Street that help inform the work of the Federal Reserve.

The links below list the members of our boards and advisory councils, as well as the Bank’s Management Committee, Bank officers, and retirees from our boards and councils.

All listings are as of April 2, 2024.
